Follow up of the previous

In regards to some of the comments.

You are correct it is a college. This however does not mean it is privately funded.
Definition of a College, and a University.
A University a just a group of Colleges. At a University you will more than likely have a College of Arts and Sciences and a College of Business.

You are right there are ones that want equal rights, that is fine. I know there is a difference between them and the ones that decide men cant have anything to themselves and will sue to get it even if they hurt people in the mean time. I have never heard of Cuts Fitness. As for these secret societies, they allow women. It is in their best interest to do so. Fraternities and Sorrorites are somehow exempt from all of this, not sure why maybe because it is a Greek tradtion.

Lodges however, at least where I lived in CA, were forced to allow women as well. Might have just been one woman that wanted it. It actually caused, at least a few that I know of, to shut down and the men decided to just meet on their own. In defense of the wives of some of these women they reacted through the community and came out in favor of the men having this as their own. My guess is that it allowed them to have time to themselves when their husbands went to the meetings.

You were right I was grouping them together even though I know there is a difference for this I apologize.

More ranting

Ok this is probably going to get me in a lot of trouble but here it goes anyway.

Womens rights people piss me off. I am all for women having the same rights as men. If they want to join the military, good let them. If they want equal rights, good let them. You know what though? If they want them they get the bad with the good. Women want equal rights, they get to sign up for the draft. You dont get the good and not the bad I am sorry. What has started me on this diatribe is that Wells University, an all female University, is thinking of going co-ed. That wouldnt start me on it. What started was that NPR had people talking about it saying how bad it is. Ok the Citadel was once all male., and what happened? Women wanted to join and then the Citadel was forced to allow them. Guys want to have something to themselves what happens? Women decide that they want in and they are allowed. Women however can have places like Wells and then numerious businesses, like Curves, that are all women. Ok I understand women not wanting to exercise in front of some guys. But as some of my male friends said they would like to not be watched by women when they are exercising. What would happen if guys tried to get a male only gym? Just a question for you guys...

Christmas ranting

A little background on me. I have dated a Jehovah Witness, technically I guess we never we dating, as according to her we were not allowed to as I was not one, but semantics aside here it goes.

Recently I had the displeasure of talking with a Jehovah Witness about Christmas. I was prepared though. While dating my ex I learned quite a lot and found out a lot of good information. One sight in particular here, brings up some very good points. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT TAKE MY WORD OR THIS SIGHTS WORD, do your own research. I will tell you now that the sight is not lying with what it quotes. In my experience the Watchtower, the publications that the JW use as supplements to the bible are telling them what to believe. The people that produce these also so things that I do not agree with. They will take quotes and deliberately leave out parts that don't agree with what they want to say and by leaving these out it makes it say something totally different. I have looked I had access to the books and crap they use. The one in particular that I don't like, is that Jesus died on a Cross. The JW do not believe this. I looked at what they said in their book and compared it to the source they quoted. The source according to them showed that Jesus died on a stake. However, within the [...] that the book had the source put something like, but at the time when the Romans were doing crucifixion they would have the one being crucified carry just the cross beam and that would be placed on top of a stake that was already up. To me this would create a T not a +. It went on to state that they would then put on top the name of the person and the charges. Thus would create the + look that we have. Now to me, NONE OF THIS MATTERS, what matters is that Jesus died for our sins. Yet, JW will make a big deal out of this. They say they are mistreated because the bible says they will be. I say they are mistreated because the try to force people to see things their way, go against everything else and try to make themselves better than everyone else.

Now don't get me wrong they are good people, but they have blind faith. Something I do not believe in. I believe in questioning God. It is the only way to come to your own answers. One thing I do like about them coming to the house is that if you ask them not to come back they will respect that and put your name and house on a list.

Ok I need food now so have at me and bitch all you want.

OK I work for a call center. Thoes of you who read this already know what one. I am not one of the people that when you call up you get to talk to. I am considered Tier 2 support, this means when the people that call up cant fix it they send it to us so that we can try and fix it. Now why do people seem to think that when they are told, "Tier 2 will call you in just a moment," that they can get the fuck up and leave? They were told in just a moment they will call you. I call and what happens? I GET THERE GOD FORSAKEN VOICEMAIL! Or, I call them and instead of answering there phon,e they let it go to voicemail Then they call me back 2 seconds later after I already started working on someone elses problem. Not to mention they then get mad at you for taking so long to get back to you. Get with the damn program people. If you want my help answer the damn phone when I call your ass. Damn people!
